About FlowMotion

A whole-horse approach to bodywork and movement

My name is Anna Krén, an equine neuromyoskeletal therapist based in Bunnik, Utrecht. With training in equine physiotherapy at DIPO and a BSc in International Equine Business Management, I combine movement assessment, responsive hands-on bodywork and practical guidance.

At FlowMotion, I don’t look for isolated problems; I look for patterns. I connect movement with posture, muscle tone, coordination and behaviour while listening to every response the horse gives me. Each session is a dialogue, adapted to the horse in front of me, so you leave with a clearer understanding and practical next steps.

Could bodywork support your horse?

Changes in movement

  • Stiffness or reduced suppleness

  • Difficulty bending equally

  • Changes in rhythm, coordination or transitions

  • Reduced willingness to move forward

Changes in behaviour

  • Sensitivity during grooming or saddling

  • New resistance during groundwork or ridden work

  • Tension, rushing or difficulty settling

  • A horse who simply feels “not quite right”

Progress over time

  • Returning to work after rest

  • Gradually rebuilding strength and coordination

  • Working with recurring movement patterns

  • Supporting a wider rehabilitation plan

FlowMotion does not provide veterinary diagnosis. Horses showing unexplained pain, lameness or sudden changes should be assessed by a veterinarian.

What happens during an equine bodywork session?

Each FlowMotion session combines observation, hands-on bodywork and movement guidance. The process is adapted to your horse rather than following a fixed treatment routine.

agnosis.

Do you travel to my horse?

Yes. FlowMotion is based in Bunnik, Utrecht and travels to private yards and professional stables throughout the Netherlands. International stable visits and treatment days are available by arrangement.

Does my horse need to see a veterinarian first?

Not before every session. However, unexplained pain, lameness, neurological signs or sudden behavioural changes should be assessed by a veterinarian first. If you are unsure, you are always welcome to ask before booking.

How should I prepare my horse for a session?

Please have your horse dry and reasonably clean, with a safe, level area available for movement assessment and bodywork. Avoid strenuous exercise immediately beforehand, and have any relevant veterinary information available. Your horse does not need to be perfectly groomed or exercised before I arrive.

I’m unsure whether I should book. What can I do?

Send me a message describing what you have noticed, along with any relevant history or short movement videos. I will help you decide whether a FlowMotion session is appropriate, which service fits best or whether another professional should be involved first.

Is tailored pricing available for multiple horses?

Yes. Tailored pricing is available for owners with several horses and for larger yards arranging treatment for multiple horses. Contact me with the number of horses and location, and I will provide a suitable proposal.
